MGI Personal Negative Ion Generator

The MGI Personal Negative Ion Generator is an innovative device designed to enhance air quality through advanced ionization technology. This product is capable of generating up to 26 million negative ions, effectively eliminating up to 99.9% of smoke particles within 3 minutes, and reducing up to 99% of airborne viruses in a 0.2 m3 space within 20 minutes.

What Is a Negative Ion Generator?

A Negative Ion Generator, also known as an air ionizer, is a device that uses high voltage to ionize air molecules, producing negatively charged ions (anions).

Negative ions are particles that carry one or more extra electrons, giving them a net negative electrical charge. In this process, the device generates negatively charged oxygen atoms, which are then released into the air.

These ions work by:

  • Attaching to positively charged particles such as dust, smoke, bacteria, and allergens
  • Causing fine particles to cluster together, making them heavier and easier to settle
  • Naturally improving overall air quality

Negative ions are odorless, safe for health, and are known to provide benefits for the respiratory system and overall well-being.

Warranty Information

  • The MGI Personal Negative Ion Generator comes with:
  • An official 1 (one) year warranty from the date of purchase (based on system invoice)
  • Warranty coverage for manufacturing defects only
  • Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or user negligence

Operating Principle of the Negative Ion Generator

This device operates through an integrated electronic system controlled by a Micro Controller Unit (MCU) on a Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA).

The working process includes:

  • The MCU detects the power button and activates the system
  • Battery power is stabilized through internal circuitry
  • An Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) protection system ensures safe operation
  • DC voltage is converted into high voltage through a dedicated circuit
  • The high voltage is delivered to a carbon-based emitter
  • A large number of electrons ( E- ) are released at high speed
  • These electrons are captured by oxygen molecules (O2), forming negative ions

The generated negative ions are extremely small in size, enabling them to:

  • Capture fine particulate matter such as PM2.5 (≤2.5 µm) and even particles as small as 1 µm
  • Aggregate particles for easier settling
  • Reduce exposure to harmful air pollutants

Air purification occurs through the interaction between negative ions and positively charged particles such as dust, smoke, bacteria, and other pollutants.
When the operating time ends or the battery is depleted, the system automatically shuts down to ensure device safety.
