What is negative ion generator?

A negative ion generator or air ionizer is a device that uses high voltage to ionize (electrically charge) air molecules. Negative ions or anions, are particles with one or more extra electrons, conferring a net negative charge to the particle. With a negative ion generator, the generator creates negative oxygen atoms, otherwise known as ions.

The generator then releases the ions into the surrounding atmosphere. A negative ion generator is completely safe and good for health. They emit negative ions into the air as a way to clean it. A negative ion is an oxygen atom with an extra electron, it is odorless.

Air ionizers and their connection to negative ions can mean big benefits to the respiratory system and overall health.

Theory of generator

The MCU in PCBA recognizes that the power button is pressed, and the battery power is output to the negative ion generator module after being stabilized by internal circuit processing, and the internal timing is turned on
After the input DC is processed by EMI processing circuit and lightning protection circuit, the negative ion generator will rise to AC high voltage through pulse circuit, over-voltage and current limit; high and low voltage isolation and other lines, and then get pure DC negative high voltage through rectification and filtering of special grade electronic materials, connect the DC negative high voltage to the release tip made of carbon element, and generate it by DC high voltage at the tip High DC electric, high-speed emission of a large number of electrons (E -)
The released electron (E -) will be captured by the oxygen molecule (O2) in the air to generate air anion
The small particle size anion can actively capture the small particle dust, make it agglomerate and precipitate, effectively remove the micro dust of 2.5 Î¼ m (PM2.5) and below, or even 1 Î¼ m particles in the air, so as to reduce the harm of PM2.5 to human health. The purification effect of the ecological level anion on the air is derived from the combination of the negative ion and the positive particles such as bacteria, dust and smoke in the air, and gather elimination of PM2.5 ball hazards.
When the timing is over or the battery power is exhausted, the MCU will automatically cut off the battery output and the power supply of the negative ion generator module
